Doylestown Native Hangs Up White Coat

He worked at Doylestown Hospital for eight years early in his career.

A Doylestown man who has delivered more than 5,000 babies in his career as a doctor is hanging up the white coat.

Dr. Kenneth Eckhart Jr. is retiring as chairman of the OB/GYN department at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT.

Eckhart is a Doylestown native who graduated from what was then Central Bucks High School - today, - and spent eight years at early in his career.
