When did your business get started?
Doylestown Flowers and Gifts was an established business that Monica and Meghan Andris purchased in October of 2011. DF&G is the oldest and longest operating floral business in Doylestown, thriving for well over 50 years! We have worked very hard to keep all of the charm of good old-fashioned service while freshening up floral designs to suit modern day demands.

Why did you choose Doylestown to open your business?
It was important for us to own a flower shop in no town other than Doylestown because so much of our hearts and passion lies here. So many special moments, from large life milestones to small everyday occurrences, have been warmly captured in this town and we felt it important to keep adding to our collection. Our customers and other local merchants support us and make us proud to be a part of this one of a kind community!

What is your business best known for?
Our customer service is our top priority! We love to get to know our customers, their personal styles and their stories. We pride ourselves on exceptional quality florals and beautiful designs but our customer interactions and involvement in special moments in their lives is what really makes it all worthwhile! The best parts of our team always shine through in our wedding work; when we get to tailor every detail to the uniqueness of the couple and add to the magic of their day!

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
Monica used to own her own small business creating gift baskets out of her home and selling them to hospital gift shops in the Philadelphia area. Her passion for flowers began as a child when she would help out at the corner flower shop in NE Philadelphia.
