That's when the Food Network will be in Philadelphia holding an open casting call for season 9 of Food Network Star.

"Essentially, we are looking for those with a captivating personality who believe they’re at the top of the culinary game and want to inspire a Food Network audience through their passion for food and cooking," according to Kristen Damiani, a casting associate for the show.

If you think you've got what it takes to impress coaches Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis, and Alton Brown, here's what you need to know.

Would-be applicants either can try out during the casting call or submit a three-minute home video online.

Auditions in Philadelphia will be held at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Attendees are asked to bring two recent, clearly labeled photographs of themselves and a resume.
