When did your business get started?
CrossFit Summa opened in Buckingham, Pa., on June 15, 2013, as nothing more than the dream of three young men on a fitness journey who wanted to help others find their path to inner peace and outer strength. We quickly outgrew our space and re-opened in Doylestown on January 11, 2014.

Why did you choose Doylestown to open your business?
We believe Doylestown is a dynamic, civic-minded community with a strong cultural identify and an abundance of energy. CrossFit Summa is located on Landisville Road near the airport in an area of Doylestown that is growing and very much the center of action.

We also chose Doylestown because it is ideally located between New Hope and Montgomeryville, making it convenient for our existing clients and opening the doors to new members as well.

What is your business best known for?
Our coaching emphasizes proper form and technique above all else, which maximizes results and minimizes injuries. We give each client individualized attention, and provide guidance in scaling each workout to the individual's level of fitness. Our coaching style is what differentiates CrossFit Summa from other CrossFit gyms.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
CrossFit Summa is as much about building community as it about building muscles. We are not just a gym. We are a community of strong-minded and motivated individuals looking for a fun and goal-producing environment.
