When did your business get started?
The Bucks County Project Gallery opened its doors on On Valentine's Day 2013 to the art enthusiasts in our community. We focus on the art of photography and strive to give photographers a home to exhibit and sell their work. We hope to raise awareness to the art of photography, its importance and value in the art community.

With an education in photography and a background in printing and portfolio consulting, I saw a need in the local photography community for a forum and marketplace for photographers to be recognized. I opened the gallery with the passion to support her fellow artists.

Why did you choose Doylestown to open your business?
I have lived in Doylestown since 1990 and am raising my two children here. Until the gallery opened, there was no place for photographers to exhibit their work in a professional setting.

What is your business best known for?

Photography, gallery talks and educational services.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
Photography is a widespread talent in Bucks County; you might be surprised by the variety of photographers that live right here in your community. A lot of these photographers truly strive to be recognized in their art, setting their goals to turn photography into a valued and independent business for themselves. Shop local, buying local photography, supports these dreams and goals.

We also work with and support our young up and coming photographers, collaborating with our local high schools in featuring the students' work throughout the year.
