Veterans ID Discount Program Offers Remote Sign-ups

Bucks County Recorder of Deeds staff will take the Veterans ID Discount Card program on the road over the next two weeks, holding sign-up events in both Bensalem and Yardley.

Staff from the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office will be making a few stops around the county to issue Veterans ID Discount cards to interested service men and women. 

Veterans and active duty personnel who reside within the county will be able to fill out an application and get photographed for the ID card, which can then be used for savings at participating locations across Bucks County. 

Veterans will have the opportunity to receive a free ID card on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m., at Eddington House, 2813 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem
  • Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 4 to 7 p.m., at Continental Tavern, 2 North Main Street, Yardley

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214 form in order for the Recorder of Deeds staff to proceed with issuing the cards. 

If you are interested in signing up for a Veterans Discount ID Card but cannot make it out to one of these events, the Veterans Affairs office, located on the second floor of the Bucks County Courthouse (55 E. Court St., Doylestown, PA 18901) also processes the applications. The Veterans Affairs office is open weekdays from 7:45 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
