Missing Woman's Boyfriend Wanted by Police, Detectives Say

Ashley Keller, missing since July 4, is believed to be with her boyfriend, Romulo Perez-Catalan, 21, who has been arrested in the past for assault.

Police believe a 21-year-old Warrington woman who has been missing since July 4 is endangered and may have been taken out of the area by her boyfriend, who they say has a history of abuse.

Warminster Detective David Bonacquisti said he believes Ashley Keller is with her boyfriend, Romulo Perez-Catalan, 21, who has been arrested in the past for assaulting her. He is currently wanted by Warminster Township Police in connection with a June burglary.

Keller, a Warrington native who was living with Perez-Catalan in Warminster, was last seen July 4, Bonacquisti said.

“We believe she is in danger because she is with her boyfriend who is wanted by police and has been arrested in the past for assaulting her,” the detective said.

Bonacquisti said Keller called her mother on July 7. She said she was with Perez-Catalan and it wasn’t safe to talk.

That’s the last time anyone has heard from her, Bonacquisti said. She has been added to the National Crime Information Center’s database as a “missing endangered person,” he said. That database can be accessed by any police department in the United States.

Bonacquisti said he spoke with Keller on July 4 regarding the investigation into the June 30 burglary of Quality Gas, for which police have an active warrant for Perez-Catalan’s arrest.

She went missing later that day.

The last activity on her cell phone was on July 7, when a call was made from Illinois. There has been no credit card activity and her cell phone is now off, Bonacquisti said.

Police don’t know if Keller went willingly with Perez-Catalan or if he forced her to go with him.

Keller is described as having light brown hair, blue eyes and is 5’ 1” and 130 pounds. According to friends, she has a tattoo of a hummingbird with a flower on her foot.

Anyone with information about the situation or has seen Keller should call authorities immediately.
