Police believe a 21-year-old Warrington woman who has been missing since July 4 is endangered and may have been taken out of the area by her boyfriend, who they say has a history of abuse.

Warminster Detective David Bonacquisti said he believes Ashley Keller is with her boyfriend, Romulo Perez-Catalan, 21, who has been arrested in the past for assaulting her. He is currently wanted by Warminster Township Police in connection with a June burglary.

Keller, a Warrington native who was living with Perez-Catalan in Warminster, was last seen July 4, Bonacquisti said.

“We believe she is in danger because she is with her boyfriend who is wanted by police and has been arrested in the past for assaulting her,” the detective said.

Bonacquisti said Keller called her mother on July 7. She said she was with Perez-Catalan and it wasn’t safe to talk.

That’s the last time anyone has heard from her, Bonacquisti said. She has been added to the National Crime Information Center’s database as a “missing endangered person,” he said. That database can be accessed by any police department in the United States.

Bonacquisti said he spoke with Keller on July 4 regarding the investigation into the June 30 burglary of Quality Gas, for which police have an active warrant for Perez-Catalan’s arrest.

She went missing later that day.

The last activity on her cell phone was on July 7, when a call was made from Illinois. There has been no credit card activity and her cell phone is now off, Bonacquisti said.

Police don’t know if Keller went willingly with Perez-Catalan or if he forced her to go with him.

Keller is described as having light brown hair, blue eyes and is 5’ 1” and 130 pounds. According to friends, she has a tattoo of a hummingbird with a flower on her foot.

Anyone with information about the situation or has seen Keller should call authorities immediately.

Bonacquisti’s direct number is 215-443-2767. The general line for Warminster Police is 215-443-5000. After hours, call the dispatch line at 215-672-1000.

Might be nice if you post a picture of the boyfriend which can easily be found by the internet-savvy on his criminal records since he is also confirmed as a wanted suspect.

Google his name you will see mugshots

I'll see if police have a mugshot, I don't have the rights to use ones found by a google search

His mugshots are on line if you go to the Bucks County mugshots website. Also, her mother has posted a number of them on her FB page. I don't know why you can't use them once they are in the public domain.

His pictures are on the poster the police gave to her mother. It can be found on her Facebook as well as mine.

His photo is in the online version of the Intel. No reason it can't be on the Patch too. It may be on the 11 o'clock news. It needs to get as far and wide as possible. Too bad Patch.com can't do a blast to every Patch in the country.

It is on this article, under the large photo there are two thumbnails and one is his. Click on it to enlarge. I didn't post it at first because when I posted this article it was before Warminster had sent out the wanted poster and I didn't have his picture yet.

I just took both headshots and put it in one image. hope that eliminates the confusion

There was no 'confusion,' just poor editing; if a photo of the boyfriend was available it should have been posted HERE, from the get-go. Hold the bs excuses.

Sorry P.A.M. but before the Warminster PD sent the photo, there was no photo of him available for my use. Copyright laws prohibit me from taking pictures off the internet without permission.

Then patch needs to get their act together. It is supposed to be all about local: so get agreements w/ local PDs, local news media...for TIMELY access to highly RELEVANT photos. Patch readers might want to know/be able to assist in matters like this. Or, maybe patch should just post a disclaimer: "For the COMPLETE story, please see (link to other local media source)."
Kara Seymour July 16, 2013 at 02:34 PM
The story was posted on Patch before any other news media had it because I was in direct contact with the local police. I'm not interested in a back and forth with you. If you don't like Patch, then don't read it.

Can Patch help get the story out nationwide? There are Patch sites nationwide?

I've posted our local Patch article about her in Northern Illinois. Praying for her safe return. Sorry this happened.
