Thousands flocked to Doylestown's Central Park on Sunday evening for a night of music, food, fun and fireworks.
The Philly Party Band entertained the crowd beginning at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks followed a few hours later. Food trucks supplied snacks and the weather was perfect for an evening of summer fun.
The event, part of Doylestown's Sounds of Summer series, was put on by the borough and the township. It was the second of six outdoor musical events that are open to the public.
Sounds of Summer goes through July 30. All remaining shows are free; there was a $5 charge for Sunday's fireworks event.
The rain location for the remaining concerts is Lenape Middle School, 313 W State St. For more details, visit www.doylestownrec.com.
