Special Event to Close Out Grace Kelly Exhibit

There's just a few weeks left to view the Michener Art Museum's Grace Kelly exhibit, which has received national attention.

"From Philadelphia to Monaco: Grace Kelly — Beyond the Icon," opened in October at the James A. Michener Art Museum. It was the focus of a piece on the Today Show Monday morning.

The museum will host a closing event, The Last Look, which will feature cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

"The Last Look is your last chance to experience this extraordinary exhibition before the collection returns to Monaco," according to an announcement from the museum. Tickets to the event are $75; click here for details. 

The exhibit includes personal objects, including letters, photographs, awards, couture fashion and more, as well as film clips, playbills, home movies and souvenirs from her acting career.

The James A. Michener Art Museum is located at 138 South Pine St., Doylestown. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday noon to 5 p.m. and Thursday evenings until 8 p.m.
