FIRST FRIDAY IN DOYLESTOWN

When/where: Friday, from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. throughout downtown Doylestown

When/where: Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School

Why go: Plenty of handmade crafts and goodies available for sale. Proceeds benefit the school.

Cost: Free entry, but bring spending money

 

When/where: Saturday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. at the Doylestown Bookshop

Why go: DelVal professor Jim Diamond spent years in the Peace Corps and working with world agricultural programs, teaching people around the globe how to improve the food they grow. He wrote a book about his experiences, "I Did What I Had To Do," which he will be signing tonight.

 

When/where: Friday, 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., 1641 Old York Rd, Hartsville, (The Historic Moland House)

Why go: Internationally renowned sculptor Gregory William Marra will display historic art, drawings, and sculptured pieces with a patriotic theme.

When/where: Saturday, November 5, 10 a.m., AMC Theater at

Why go: The program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums dedicated to the program have their lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing.
