Shyamalan is familiar with Doylestown; portions of his 2002 film “Signs,” were set in Bucks County, including Doylestown Township.

Local officials are publicly encouraging the director to film in Bucks County.

“I strongly encourage Mr. Shyamalan to consider both of these Bucks County sites and would enjoy the opportunity to discuss with him or his staff the benefits of both great locations,” the Congressman said.
