"Glee" Vocalists to Perform at CB East

The men who are the voices of the Warblers on Fox's hit show will sing at a benefit concert at the Buckingham high school.

They wowed millions of fans with their rendition of "Teenage Dream" on Glee, and this week, they're coming to Buckingham.

The Beelzebubs, an all-male a cappella group from Tufts University, will perform in a benefit concert at on Friday night.

The group stunned fans of Fox's hit tv show with their melodious voices in a version of pop star Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" for a Glee episode that aired in November.

Though the scene was performed by Glee actors playing the parts of the Dalton Academy Warblers, the vocals and the arrangement were pure Beelzebub.

Evan Powell, The Beelzebubs' business manager, graduated from CB East in 2008. While at the high school, he was a member of the CB East choir, under the direction of E. Scott Teschner.

The benefit concert is set for Friday, April 1st at 7:30 p.m., according to an announcement sent out Sunday night. For tickets and information, email cbeastchoir@cbsd.org.

In 2009, The Beelzebubs finished second in the NBC's Sing-Off, but it is their work on Fox's hit show Glee that has earned them mentions in the entertainment press.

Before Friday’s concert, The Beelzebubs will conduct a workshop with the CB East choir.

Part of the proceeds from Friday night's concert will be donated to the American Red Cross to aid with relief efforts in Japan.
