The PIrates of Penzance, performed by the Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society

The Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents "The Pirates of Penzance" Sat. June 16 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM and on Sunday June 17 at 3PM, at Trinity Episcopal Church, corner of Rte. 202 and Rte. 413, Buckingham. A cast of topsy-turvy pirates, nobles and police strive to maintain strict Victorian virtues in the face of utter silliness, all set to Sullivan’s glorious music. Songs include “I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General” and “Poor Wandering One,” accompanied by members of the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra. Tickets $15, $10 for seniors and students, can be purchased at the door for each performance. Featuring local singers George Achilles, Jim Shute, Perry Beem, Jill Jill Rodrick Dulany, David Taylor, Lori Van Ingen Daukas,Bob Kinney, Bob Binkley, Alayna Rakes & Tim Throckmorton, with the orchestra conducted by Lee Milhous.
