The Ladykillers (1955)

Alec Guinness stars as the leader of a crime ring planning a heist. His colorful band sets up operations under the nose of a sweet old landlady. The hoods plan to use her in their daring robbery, but she proves a more formidable obstacle than expected. This wonderful British comedy has tremendous wit and local color.
