The State Street Players is made up of more than 100 residents who write, produce and perform the annual show, as well as build their own sets and construct the stage itself in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School auditorium.

The song-and-dance routines are interspersed with comedy skits, heavy on physical and satirical humor. The group will spend a total of six months in production, from initial writing in October until the March show dates.

The State Street Players' show—which benefits Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church—takes place in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School auditorium at 225 E. Ashland St. in Doylestown.
