Relay For Life Quilts

Participants in the 2003 Relay For Life of Central Bucks made 12” quilt blocks to honor or remember
loved ones who had battled cancer. The blocks were sewn together by Dot McNeel and Sue Walter making a quilt top approximately 9’ x 13’.

The quilt has been remade into 4 smaller quilts which will hang in the Philadelphia offices of the American Cancer Society.

The first two quilts are on display in the ArtWalk of Doylestown Hospital. The ArtWalk is a 308 foot long passageway connecting the parking garage at Doylestown Hospital to the hospital.

People who wish to visit the ArtWalk can take the Parking Garage Elevator or the North Elevator nearest the
Gift Shop to the ground level.

The 25 central blocks of the original quilt top form the basis of the first quilt.  Members of Piecemakers of Bucks County assisted in the remaking of the quilt.
