Phantasmagoria (often simply called "Phantas") is the Central Bucks High School East Art & Literary Magazine club. The club, formed under the direction of Mrs. Mary Mathews in the late 1980s, has grown into one of the most influential student organizations at Central Bucks East. The magazine started with an Apple 2C and was completely done on the computer way back when large pixels showed.
Each school year Phantasmagoria puts on two Coffeehouses, which feature student poets and student musicians. We serve a variety of delicious baked goods and a variety of flavors of both tea and coffee. The Coffeehouse has transformed over the last few years and prospered into a favorite event of the CB East students, teachers, and community.
In addition to our bi-annual Coffeehouse, Phantasmagoria also collects student poetry and student artwork and puts out a literary magazine. Keeping in mind the growing technological age, the club decided to host our literary magazine on this website.
