Great Expectations (1946)

Celebrate the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens with this stunning adaptation of the tale of an uncultured boy thrust into high society by a mysterious benefactor. The screening will be introduced by Edward Pettit, Charles Dickens Ambassador for the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Year of Dickens. This evening is in conjunction with the Dickens Celebration at Byers Choice in Chalfont.
