Delaware Valley College Concert Band - Spring Concert

The Delaware Valley College Concert Band will present its final concert of the academic year in the Student Center’s Moumgis Auditorium.  The concert is open to the public and admission is free.

The concert will feature a selection of outstanding contemporary works for concert band, including Xerxes and Hymn to a Blue Hour by the dynamic young American composer John Mackey.   Also on the program are Samuel Hazo’s rhythmic thriller Sevens, Fisher Tull’s classic Sketches on a Tudor Psalm and Clifton Williams’ march The Sinfonians. The concert will conclude with a selection of music from the popular Broadway musical, Wicked.  The Delaware Valley College Band is composed of Delaware Valley College students and talented musicians from the Doylestown community
