County Theater Operators to Manage Princeton Garden Theater

Renew Theaters, the Doylestown-based nonprofit company that has operated the County Theater since 1993, will now be managing a theater in New Jersey as well.

Starting June 1, Renew Theaters will operate The Princeton Garden Theater, located on Nassau Street in Princeton, N.J.

According to its website, Renew Theaters was created so the management team could operate multiple theaters, while allowing each theater to maintain its own identity. “Renew makes no profit – it is a ‘pass through’ company that supplies the services at cost,” its website states.

In addition to the County Theater, Renew Theaters operates two others in Pennsylvania—the Ambler Theater in Ambler and the Hiway Theater in Jenkintown.

Each theater has its own local board of directors and separate finances.
