the building is on S Main below Ashland and above Bridge. I believe it is owned by the Mercer Museum

Yes, owned by the Mercer, it is the building next to the Steak & Hoagie Factory!

it's on the 100 block of South Main Street next to the hoagie shop.

Bingo! Do any of you recall before the Ag Works was renovated, when the Post Office was still across the street? What was the name of the little hardware store on the corner? I remember going in there for paint in 1969 or 1970 -- Dupont had come out with a washable paint -- very new and exciting! And Steak and Hoagie was a gas station.

Right next to the Hoagie Shop. Across from the old Doylestown Post Office.

The hardware store was Barretts. Al Bouc (who would later open his own hardware store further down W Ashland ) worked there.
