Volunteers Needed to Hang Snowflakes

Snowflake decorations will be hung around town on Nov. 16.

Want to help make Doylestown look festive this winter?

The Doylestown Business & Community Alliance Holiday Committee is looking for volunteers to help hang snowflake decorations on Nov. 16.

Volunteers will meet at Starbucks that day at 9 a.m. Volunteers should bring an electric drill with a 8mm socket, an electric screwdriver or flat head screwdriver.  A six-foot ladder will also be needed. Organizers will have extra ladders and drills on hand.

The rain date for hanging the snowflakes is Nov. 23. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Volunteers will also be needed the day before, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Borough yard, 350 Harvey Avenue.  Volunteers that day are needed to unload the snowflakes and test the bulbs.
