Second Annual Pup Crawl a Howling Success

Over $9,500 was raised for the upcoming Doylestown Dog Park.

On June 30th, the blistering heat didn’t stop members of the Friends of Doylestown Dog Park from participating in their second annual ‘Pup Crawl’. They proudly braved the elements in t-shirts donated by Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic, Holiday House Pet Resort, and Doylestown Veterinary Hospital.

The numbers are in, and it was a huge success. Over $9,500 was raised thanks to over 125 participants and the bars that played host to them: M.O.M.’s, Villa Capri, Mesquito Grille, Penn Taproom, Puck, and Chambers 19. That figure represents about 6% of the expected $160,000 budget.

A long list of local vendors sponsored the event via prizes or donating part of the weekend's proceeds to the fundraising effort: Cleaning Done Wright, DogHouse Photographers, Dragonfly Yoga Studio, Dtown Tech, Handlebar Frozen Yogurt, Holiday House Pet Resort, Jules Pizza, Life on the Leash, Olive Oil Etcetera, PA Pole Academy, Penn Taproom, Pugs and Kisses Petcare, Shaving Grace Barbers, Thompson Toyota, and Vicki’s Pampered Pooch.
