In case of an emergency please call our answering service for assistance 215-598-6155." Hours Tuesday will be limited and generators working overtime so please call before you decide to visit.

Delaware Valley College will be closed Monday and Tuesday. There will be no classes, and faculty and non-essential staff should not report. Students who are home for the weekend are directed to stay home. Students who are on campus are encouraged to go home. For students who are on campus and unable to leave, there will be dining hall services available. Should campus lose power, students will be directed to bring a pillow and blanket and gather in a designated area.

SEPTA service will be suspended at 12:30 a.m. on Monday morning and remain suspended for all of Monday. Officials will monitor the storm and decide whether to resume service on Tuesday.

1) if a state of emergency is announced for central bucks does that mean no cars on the road. (route 202, 611, etc>) 2) will the court house in doylestown be open on monday morning and tuesday?

Hi Judy. I've forwarded your questions to the county and will let you know as soon as we have the answers. Stay safe!
Sarah Larson (Editor) October 28, 2012 at 07:06 PM
County says the decision about having cars on the road is usually left up to the municipalities. Haven't heard anything yet from Doylestown or Doylestown Twp. No decision has been made yet about closing the courthouse tomorrow. They will let me know if/when they decide to, and I'll update here.

Is there any plan to evacuate the people in the mobile homes in Doylestown? A lot of them are elderly.
Sarah Larson (Editor) October 29, 2012 at 01:29 AM
Not that I know of, BJ, but I'll forward a query to the township. Thanks for mentioning it.
