Road Work to Begin Monday on Main Street

Throughout next week, PennDOT will be working to resurface and improve a portion of Main Street.

Road repairs set to begin Monday will close one lane on Main Street between Route 611 and Veterans Lane in Doylestown, PennDOT announced Friday.

Throughout next week, PennDOT will be working to resurface and improve that portion of Main Street as part of an ongoing effort to repair and repave state highways in Bucks County. According to PennDOT, the $13 million effort will improve 23 state highways in Bucks.

The lane closures as part of the local project will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel on each roadway during resurfacing operations, PennDOT said.
