Non-Profit to Host Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine

Tickets can be purchased online for the March event, which is expected to sell out.

Chef Robert Irvine is returning to Bucks County, but this time he won't be helping to rescue a failing restaurant.

The star of Food Network's "Restaurant Impossible" will be the star of a celebrity fundraiser for the Indian Creek Foundation.

The foundation announced Monday that Irvine, who tears apart failing restaurants and rebuilds them on a budget and a deadline, will headline the event in the spring.

Tickets are $25 for students and $50 for adults. A meet and greet event before the main show, featuring appetizers and a chance to meet Irvine, is $150.

The event is scheduled for Friday, March 9 at Calvary Church, 820 Rt. 113 in Hilltown Township (Souderton mailing address). Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and Irvine's presentation will start at 7 p.m.

Chef Irvine will entertain the audience with his storytelling, live cooking demonstration and question and answer session. The Foundation anticipates the event will sell out.
