More Widespread Power Outages Hit Central Bucks Region

Update: 1:45 p.m.: The outages impacting central Bucks County are mostly restored, with just 23 New Hope customers waiting for service.
More than 5,000 PECO customers in central Bucks County are without power as of 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
PECO's outage information map shows 5,230 residents from Buckingham, Solebury, Upper Makefield, New Hope, Northampton and Wrightstown without power. Temperatures are expected to reach the 90s by mid afternoon, according to forecasters. 
Solebury Township is hardest hit by the outages, with 2,132 customers without power as of 12:30 p.m. 
Last week, more than 31,000 PECO customers in central Bucks County were without power for a period of time Monday.
