School has started and fall is coming soon. It’s time to get out of the summer schedule, and back to real life, and long weeks. But you can still relax and have fun on the weekend.

Where/When: Downtown Doylestown, Sat & Sun 10-5pm

Why Go: This two-day festival is the largest event of the year in Doylestown. This annual festival has grown to include more than 150 exhibitors and a food court. Diverse entertainment is presented at numerous locations throughout the downtown area. Live music features solo acts as well as rock, pop, folk, big band and music just for kids.

Doylestown Oktoberfest

Where/When: Turk Park, Almshouse Rd. and Rt. 611, Doylestown. Fri. 5-11pm, Sat. 12-11pm, Sun. 12-8pm.

Why Go: Due to the weather the Festival was delayed in opening but you still have some time to take in the fun …Pages Aerial Thrill Show, Donnerts Equestrian Horse Show, Pages White Tiger Show, Petting Barnyard, Reithoffer Shows, Rides, Live Music and Great Food

Pricing: $6.00 per person (cash only), children 42 inches and under free, Admission does not include rides

Parent Workshop: "Help! I have a teen living in my house"

Where/When: , 2500 Lower State Rd, Doylestown. Sat 10-12pm

Why Go: Free parenting workshop, the first in a series held in conjunction with our 7th grade initiative. Presentor: Kevin Crail, Director of Youth Develpment. Pre-registration requested

Pricing:  Free

Where/When: Covered Bridge Park, 259 Keeley Ave, New Britain. Sat. 11 am - 3 pm.

Why Go: A day of family fun, food, games and the 2nd Annual Duck Derby. Try your luck and buy a duck for the Duck Race. Proceeds go to support the Civic Association, Covered Bridge Park and the rebuilding of the Veterans' War Memorial in New Britain.

Buckingham Auto Show

Where/When: Holicong Park, Rt. 202, Holicong, Sun. Sept. 18 11 am - 4 pm

Why Go: The 13th Annual Concours d'Elegance features gorgeous cars for a good cause. Proceeds benefit land preservation programs in Buckingham Township.

Pricing: $5 adults, $3 children, kids under 3 are free.
