Crane to Install Twisty Slide at Kids Castle Thursday
Bring a blanket and watch a large twisty slide get installed Thursday at Kids Castle.
A large crane will be installing a new green twisty slide at Kids Castle on Thursday, according to the township. The public is invited to watch the slide get hoisted into position.
"Bring a blanket and join us on the hill. We'll start around 9 a.m. and it will be an all-day project," the township posted on its website. "You will get to see all the updates that have been going on at the castle."
Kids Castle, the popular children's playground in Doylestown Township's Central Park, has been closed since March for repairs.
Community members have created the Save Kids Castle group to raise money to repair and improve the playground. A second phase of work, which includes replacing additional equipment, is slated for the future.
