Warwick Township Celebrates Grand Opening and Dedication of New Firehouse

(Jamison, Pa) – Hundreds of community members gathered on a beautiful, sunny autumn day to celebrate the grand opening and dedication of the Warwick Township Fire Company’s new firehouse. The festivities took place on Saturday, September 21 with local officials, business and community leaders, fire company members and township residents on hand to share in the celebration.

Tours were offered and children had a chance to climb aboard the fire company’s trucks and check out firefighters’ gear and equipment.  Games and entertainment were provided by WIP Sports Radio and refreshments were generously supplied by Giant Food Stores of Warwick, Hatboro Beverages Inc. and Warwick Fire Company members.

Chief Bob Weber stated “As Chief of the department I would like to thank our members who volunteer 365 days a year to protect the community and who made this event a very special occasion.” Weber continued, “We were happy to see so many residents of Warwick Township come to the open house and we would like to thank the community and local businesses for their support to the Fire Department.  We honor our past history and secure our future with this new building and will continue to provide this necessary service to the community.”
