Keith J. Williams Receives Bucks County Bar Association Awards

Doylestown, PA (January 27, 2014) – As part of a long-standing tradition, the Bucks County Bar Association (BCBA) Criminal Law Division nominates exceptional members of its legal roster to receive one of two Attorney of the Year Awards, the Justice Award and the Star of the Year Award, bestowed in recognition of an individual’s overall outstanding legal representation efforts.


In December 2013, the BCBA Criminal Law Division announced Doylestown-Based Attorney, Keith J. Williams; partner at Repko Williams, LLC was selected as the sole recipient of both awards.

The Justice Award recognizes stupendous efforts in providing legal representation to criminal defendants in the Bucks County Criminal Courts. “Keith Williams is an attorney who has distinguished himself this year in his representation of criminal defendants by having represented a client in the successful litigation of a significant case, as well as having handled criminal cases with commitment and zeal,” reads the award.

The Star of the Year Award recognizes stellar efforts in providing legal representation to indigent clients in the practice of criminal law. It is also noted Williams “is an attorney who provides legal services to indigent clients in the Bucks County Court System. He has demonstrated dedication to Liberty and Justice for All by having represented an indigent client in the successful litigation of a significant criminal case, as well as having handled a significant number of indigent cases with commitment and zeal.”

The Criminal Law Section of the Bucks County Bar Association has also commended Williams’ criminal defense talents with previous nominations for Bucks County Criminal Defense Lawyer of the Year for 10 years straight.

In addition, he is qualified under PA Rule 801 to handle death penalty cases. He represents clients throughout settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and trial.

Born and raised in Doylestown, Williams is a 1983 graduate of the Delaware Law School at Widener University and holds a BA in History from Muhlenberg College. He is a former Public Defender and currently handles cases involving personal injury, DUI/DWI, criminal defense, juvenile law, and general litigation for the firm in areas such as Unemployment compensation, traffic violations, and civil matters.

Williams is an active member of the Bucks County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, Bucks County American Inns of Court, American Inns of Court, Former Member of Bucks County Public Defenders Office, Bucks County Public Defender Conflict List, and Bucks County Children and Youth Conflict List. In addition, he is a member of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce and Doylestown Business and Community Alliance.
