Doylestown Senior's Wish for Encyclopedia Set Granted

Steven Korngut, a 62-year-old resident of Golden LivingCenter in Doylestown, recently had his simple wish for a set of encyclopedias granted.  Korngut is an avid reader and writer, who takes both very seriously.  Due to his medical condition, he is unable to leave the facility to go to the library or book store and cannot use a computer to do research. His wish was granted on Thursday, September 19, 2013 when Twilight Wish delivered two sets of donated encyclopedias to the nursing facility.

Special thanks to Holly Ambrose of the Bucks County Free Library in Doylestown who arranged for the donation of one of the book sets and attended the wish granting ceremony. Thanks also to the Harland family for donating the other encyclopedia set.  Finally, thanks to local author Brian O’Connell who also attended the ceremony and offered writing advice to Korngut.
