Doc Baker's Farmulations 'growing' into landmark site in Doylestown Borough

Doc Baker’s Farmulations, Central Bucks’s only organic, all-natural vegan juice bar and restaurant, will be moving to new quarters at 22 North Main Street in Doylestown, having outgrown its current space on West State Street in the few short months since it opened in the spring.

“We’re very blessed to be growing into this community center in the heart of Doylestown Borough,” says Angelo A. Greco, pharmacist, of the building that until July 31 was occupied by a series of coffee shops.

Doc Baker’s will remain open for business on West State Street while the Main Street space undergoes extensive renovations. Greco, who owns Doc Baker’s, expects to open the new location by October 1 with an expanded menu, brighter environment, faster service, improved customer traffic flow and upgrades to the food prep areas.

“The larger space gives us an opportunity to expand our menu to include a “jump start” breakfast and “late-night light” food and beverage choices, along with lower-priced versions of our entrees,” says Greco.

“We know how fond Doylestown business people, visitors and residents are of the relaxed and open environment of this old Hart Building space – which happened to house a drug store back in 1896,” he says. “So while we plan to bring a friendly, old-fashioned drug store feel to the place, we are going to retain all of the rich architectural details – large windows, exposed brick walls, wooden floors – and more recent features that have made it a popular destination for the locals.

“For example, we’re keeping the coveted seating area that looks out the front window onto Main Street, and we’ll offer free wifi and continue to be a popular spot to meet up with friends and colleagues to tap into the buzz of Doylestown.”
