Joe Frederick for the 143rd
This little ditty is to support Joe Frederick who is a candidate for State Representative from the 143rd Legislative District.
Regular Joe Frederick for the 143rd
What we want for the House is a Regular Joe.
A guy who cares about us and the life that we know.

Pulchritude matters to a regular Joe
In a family with sisters and daughters and wife.
He’ll vote NO on bills that limit their right to choose.
He wants no wars on women and no women to lose.
Ms. Quinn has to answer to really big PACs
Thousands each year go into her stacks.
And why should they care about the One-Forty-Third?
‘Cause they call in their markers when issues are heard.
She claims that seniors come first and their needs must go through.
But insurance just loves her as somebody who
Will vote to cut services; limit damages for you
It's easy to see what they expect her to do.
Her behavior is just like Jekyll and Hyde
She flip-flops on issues like “fracking” for gas.
Says for local control it’s perfect and right,
Then does just the reverse in the Harrisburg fight.
Schools don’t matter much in Quinn’s local schemes
Her votes to cut funding end all kinds of dreams.
We lose a principal here, a great teacher there
And educational jobs are down everywhere.
She did nothing to defend the vote for us all
Even called for worse rules than the one now in play
But Republican Big-Wigs let her vote one O.K.
To help her look better for Election Day.
Our Regular Joe is a man of his word
He didn’t get where he is by expedient stands.
He is honest and strong and neighborly too.
You can count on him doing the right thing for you.
He has knocked on your doors and stated his case.
Now we need to reach out to the people we know
Tell them why it will matter so much to us all
That Harrisburg gets our Regular Joe.
