The Tea Party has a street rally in Doylestown
Tea Party Alive and Well-fantastic rally on Route 611 focused on Obama's failed economic policies.
If you thought that the Tea Party was fading away, think again.
Today, over 100 patriots lined Route 611 from Almshouse Road to the Barn Movie Theater to support a rally promoted by The Kitchen Table Patriots. They carried American Flags, Gadsden Flags, and home-made signs. Traffic was incredibly heavy due to a municipal collection so thousands of cars drove by. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Horns honked, thumbs up were given, and many chanted "Romney". All of this support, and we only announced this rally on Thursday!
The theme of the rally was "Obama's Economic Failure". Brian Land and Audrey Strein, both dedicated and active conservatives came up with the theme idea which was a huge success and really helped focus the message. "We wanted to educate the voters about Obama's Failed economy. You can't argue with facts." said Brian Land

Some examples of signs included "Poverty Rate Stays at 2 Decade High-So Much for Hope and Change", "Obama Steals 700 Billion from Medicare to Fund Obamacare", "2008-Gas $1.80 2012 Gas $4.00" and "Higher Gas Prices but Obama send Billions to drill in Brazil". Seeing so many signs with a common theme really illustrated the economic stresses caused by this administration and the need to make a change in November.
One woman motorist actually stopped her car and protested with us. She said that she had never done anything like this before, but she was so worried about our country that she had to help. We did get a few middle fingers, but hey that is what makes America great. We have the freedom of speech.

After today, I truly believe that the polls are skewed and that Pennsylvania is a swing state with a strong possibility to be won by Mitt Romney and Tom Smith. We are not like California or other Northeast liberal states that are going to fall in line. Pennsylvania has the ability to provide economic growth and to accelerate our recovery and we know it.
We are in the final minutes of the big game and need everyone to get involved and give their best effort to help us deliver the win that this country needs.
