Young Adult Costume Party, Zoning Board to Meet

A look at the day ahead in Doylestown.

Here's a look at what's happening around Doylestown Wednesday, Oct. 16:

  • The Doylestown Bookshop will celebrate Teen Read Week with a costume and pizza party. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the bookshop. Click here for details.
  • Doylestown Borough's Zoning Hearing Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Click here to view the agenda.
  • A Bucks County resident who has been trained in the subject of climate change by former Vice President Al Gore will give a presentation at noon at Bucks County Community College's Newtown Campus. The presentation, called  "Climate Reality: 2013 Update," is free and open to the public. It will be held on the first floor of Tyler Hall in Room 128.  If you can't make it Wednesday, it will also be offered Thursday at 12:30 and 7:30 p.m.
  • Doc Baker's will be closed for a few days as it prepares to move into a new location on N. Main Street.
  • It's your last week to get a meal at Vine & Fig Tree, which is closing Sunday.
