Vets Eat Free, Nature Club to Meet: Monday in Doylestown

A look at the day ahead in Doylestown.

Here's what's going on in Doylestown on Monday, Nov. 11:

  • It's Veterans Day. Government offices, the post office and most banks are closed for the holiday. Central Bucks schools are open.
  • As a thank you to the men and women who have served, Applebee's is giving a free meal to veterans and active military servicemen and woman. Click here for details. 
  • After dinner, stop by Go Bananas for dessert. The frozen yogurt shop will be offering veterans a free 10 ounce frozen yogurt with toppings. 
  • Ken Leroy will speak about "The History of Trees and Mansions in Fairmount Park" at the Doylestown Nature Club meeting Monday at 1 p.m. at the Buckingham Township Building.
