Snow Clears, Holiday Pet Shop Opens at Cold Spring

A look at the day ahead in Doylestown.

Here's a look at what's going on in Doylestown on Wednesday, Dec. 11:

  • The skies have cleared after a snowfall Tuesday that left about four inches on the Bucks County region.
  • Kindergarteners from Cold Spring Elementary School are hosting a Holiday Pet Shop starting Wednesday to raise money for the Roxy Reading Therapy Dog program. The shop will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the school, 4150 Durham Road. Click here for details.
  • The County Theater will screen "To Catch a Thief," starring Grace Kelly and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The movie begins at 7:30 p.m. 
  • Heritage Conservancy, a not-for-profit land conservation organization, will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Aldie Mansion, 85 Old Dublin Pike. The event will feature guided tours, a book signing and an exhibit of William Mercer artifacts. Click here for details.
