Meet the Candidates for Mayor, Food Co-op Hosting Open House

A look at what's going on Thursday, Oct. 24 in Doylestown.

Here's a look at what's going on in Doylestown on Thursday, Oct. 24:

  • Get a sneak peak inside the Doylestown Food Co-op’s new store during an open house from noon to 6 p.m. at 29 West State St. 
  • Voters will have a chance to get to know the two candidates running for mayor of Doylestown Borough during a forum Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Wesley Enhanced Living, 200 Veterans Lane. Candidates are Republican Bruce Rutherford and Democrat Ronald Strouse.
  • The sixth annual Women’s Scholarship Tea will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at Bucks County Community College’s Newtown campus. The event benefits women students who support at least one child while seeking a higher education.
  • October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and A Woman's Place is holding a candlelight vigil at Rolling Hills United Methodist Church in Piperville at 6:30 p.m.
