Christmas House Tour, Santa at YMCA: Friday in Doylestown

A look at the day ahead in Doylestown.

Here's a look at what's going on around Doylestown on Friday, Dec. 6:

  • The 20th annual Christmas in Doylestown House Tour and Boutique sponsored by St. Paul's Episcopal Church will be held to benefit the Doylestown Homeless Shelter. The tour will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 from 11 am to 4pm. Click here for details.
  • The Central Bucks Family YMCA is hosting Santa, plus there will be refreshments and crafts starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday at 2500 Lower State Rd. The event is free and open to the public.
  • Volunteers from the Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the American Red Cross and Fred Beans will host a Lincoln Driven to Give test-drive fundraiser that can earn the charity a donation from Lincoln for up to $8,000. For every test drive, the Red Cross will get $20. The event will be held Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fred Beans Ford Lincoln, 876 N. Easton Rd, Doylestown.
  • The Doylestown Bookshop is hosting a Grinch-themed children's event starting at 6 p.m. Children will be invited to create heart shaped leaves; on the leaves children can list three good deeds that they have done that grew their hearts three sizes bigger.
