Auditioners should be prepared to sing a song either from the show or a song similar to those sung in the show. For instance, something from Oklahoma, Damn Yankees, Guys and Dolls, Paint Your Wagon, Kiss Me Kate, or similar shows would be fine as well. 
Feel free to bring a music CD if it has a specific arrangement you're familiar with.


ABOUT THE SHOW - the dangers of a workplace romance are explored to hysterical effect in this romantic comedy (from the creators of DAMN YANKEES). Conditions at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory are anything but peaceful, as sparks fly between new superintendent Sid Sorokin and Babe Williams, leader of the union grievance committee. Their stormy relationship comes to a head when the workers strike for a 7 and a half cent pay increase, setting off not only a conflict between management and labor, but a battle of the sexes as well.

Catherine "Babe" Williams - Feisty head of the union grievance committee. Mezzo / belt - Age 25-35

Sid Sorokin - Handsome factory superintendent and new in town. Baritone / tenor Age 30-40

Vernon Hines - Funny time-study man, in love with Gladys and very jealous Age -35-50

Prez Union president who is married and chases other women Age 35-50

Myron "Old Man" Hasler Company president Age 45-65

Pop Babe's agreeable father Age 45-65

Mae Loud-mouthed member of the Grievance Committee Age 20-65
