Hello, my name is Steven Bohnel, and I am a senior at CB West. I have been blogging for about half a year now on various sports topics.
I enjoy writing about sports because they are so debatable, and it's always good to hear others' opinions when it comes to something you're passionate about. I live right here in Doylestown and am looking to attend Temple University come next fall, hopefully landing some sort of sports-related job in the city.
Although I do focus on more of the professional level of sports, I am a fan of local high school sports. For instance, the fact that Pennridge beat North Penn at North Penn was a huge story, considering the decade-long conference winning streak for the Knights.
But now for my title, and actually talking about sports.
The Eagles have lost 6 in a row, and are looking at another loss Monday Night if they don't have McCoy back.
Reid won't be fired mid-season because of Jeffrey Lurie, but if he's not fired after the season, many should be rightfully upset.
Sure, Reid has led Philadelphia to multiple NFC Championship games, but he hasn't led us to a Super Bowl win yet, and with this management, it seems a long way off. It doesn't take much to see that he can't manage the clock and throws the ball way too much with one of the best backs in the game in McCoy.
But it's the press conferences that really get me going. Where's the passion? Does he realize he's in Philadelphia, one of the nation's premier sports towns?
At least show that you're as upset as we are, and that you're willing to fight for your job a little bit.
