It's almost time for the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, which  means it's also almost time for a great evening out!

Our annual wine tasting and silent auction will take place Saturday, February 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Deadline to buy tickets is February 10. The lineup includes:

• A tantalizing wine tasting courtesy of the New Hope Winery, who will be hosting the entire event.
• Delicious, gourment hors d'oeuvres
• A silent auction overflowing with interesting items (more later)
• A concert by Livingston Taylor in the New Hope Winery's intimate event venue

Sounds good, right?

The items in the silent auction are even better. Here's a sampling ...

• Phillies tickets
• A Maine vacation home for a week (you will not believe the views!)
• Lunch with radio host Michael Smerconish, plus hang out with him during one of his shows
• A professional recording session
• A professional photography session
• Tickets to the National Constitution Center
• Original artwork and jewelry

The cherry on the sundae? All proceeds benefit the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, which helps nearly 300 aspiring musicians (elementary school through high school) satisfy their love of music.
