This is on the retaining wall at the corner of Magill Lane & West Street. Magill Lane is an alley between West Street & Lafayette Street that serves the rear of the houses on Oakland Avenue and Paine Street.

My house is just across the lane from this sign on a retaining wall along Magill Lane. The former owner's of the property, the late Frannie and Dot Rodemer, were wonderful neighbors. A few years back, I bought replacement letters to repair the sign as a surprise gift to them, but alas the replacement Mercer tiles were not quite the right size to fit into the depressions left by the missing tiles. Very close but not exact. If anyone knows how I can obtain the right sized Mercer letter tiles, I'd be very happy. Even though the sign is not on my property, I think it adds a certain charm to the entire neighborhood.
