An unidentified man recently tried to make off with a cart full of Red Bull from the Doylestown Acme, according to police reports.

"I guess he needed some pep," Doylestown Borough Police Chief Jim Donnelly said Thursday.
The would-be thief was unsuccessful in his attempt. Donnelly said store employees chased the man, who dropped the Red Bull and ran off.
