Police Investigating Assaults in Doylestown
Doylestown police reported two assaults and a physical confrontation in the borough recently.

In the first incident, Stephen Weber, 31, no fixed abode, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 19 at about 5:03 a.m. Police said he allegedly pulled a female acquaintance down a flight of steps by her hair after a verbal altercation at an apartment on the tens block of E. State Street.
During the altercation, Weber damaged a door and window of a local business, according to the police reports.
Weber is also charged with criminal mischief, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct.
In the second incident, officers are investigating the report of an assault that occurred on Sunday, Jan. 20 at about 1:45 a.m. outside of Chambers Restaurant.
A witness reported seeing the suspect and the victim arguing inside the bar, according to the police reports.
Shortly after, she observed the two outside arguing, and the victim was allegedly observed pushing the suspect. The suspect then struck the victim between the eyes, knocking him to the ground, unconscious.
The suspect was then observed leaving the area with another man and woman.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’6”, approximately 190 pounds, dark brown crew-cut hair, last seen wearing a black leather jacket and black t-shirt with lettering on the chest area.
The victim was taken to Abington Hospital for evaluation and treatment, the police said.
In a third incident, Benjamin Shull, 28, Main Street, Doylestown, and Michael Long, 23, Cinnamon Drive, Philadelphia, were cited on Sunday, Jan. 20 at about 2:17 a.m. after they allegedly engaged in a physical confrontation in the Plaza East lot.
Shull was also cited for public drunkenness, according to police reports.
