Man Cited After Breaking Obama Office Window
He told police he was trying to place a note on the window.
A Doylestown man was cited for criminal mischief and DUI on Tuesday after police said he broke the window of the Obama campaign office in town.
David Pearson, 34, of Hillside Avenue, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at about 2 p.m., Doylestown police said Thursday.
Police said Pearson allegedly broke a window at the Obama campaign office on the corner of Main Street and Oakland Avenue while attempting to place a note on the window. He then allegedly drove away, but was located at his residence a short time later, according to the police report.
Police said he had cuts on his left hand and was showing signs of intoxication.
Pearson was taken to Doylestown Hospital for blood alcohol tests and to have his injured hand evaluated.
He new faces charges of criminal mischief and driving under the influence.
