Ladies Night Raises $1,100 for Children's Museum

The fundraiser organized by a Buckingham woman supported Bucks County's only children's museum.

Dozens of women attended Network Now’s 8th annual ladies night out Holiday Trunk Show organized by Jamie Broderick, of Buckingham. 

This year’s event raised money for the newly opened Bucks County Children’s Museum in Union Square in New Hope.

Museum president and founder Kelly Krumenacker said, “The dream of building a Children’s Museum in Bucks County became a reality this past November thanks to support from organizations like Network Now. The proceeds from this year’s Holiday Trunk Show will assist us in developing our programming and allow us to offer a variety of educational experiences for young learners and their families.  We are grateful to Network Now for making this year’s a success!”

At the event, celebrity DJ Marilyn Russell and her “party patrol” from 95.7 BEN FM traveled from Philadelphia to play music and give out prizes.

Chef Drew from Doylestown's served appetizers and desserts. Wycombe Vineyards poured their white wine (into glasses donated by Occasions) while Tastings and Tours served red wine donated by . Beer was provided by Triumph Brewery of New Hope. The Cornerstone Clubs offered free chair massages. The photography sponsor was Amy McDermott of Heart & Soul Portraits.

In addition to the food and drink, there were more than two dozen raffle prizes, shopping bags loaded with giveaways and 13 vendors selling holiday gifts – Karen Gruener of Designs by Karen, Kathy Doyle of Premier Designs, Aviva Meyrowitz of Lights Camera Acting, Lisa Safran & Joyce McNeill of You Are Invited, Ellen Cox of Mary Kay, Laurie Douglass of Laurie’s Chocolates, Jenny Childs of Arbonne, Jacki Pitkow of Tastefully Simple, Debra Wood of Debi Fashion, Sylvia Echavarria of Sylca Designs, Dawn Ellery of Sweet Escape, Stephanie Sides of Thirty-One Gifts and Stacey Miscisin of Scentsy Wickless.
