Undecided? This Quiz Can Help You Pick the Next President

The website ISideWith.com matches your views with those of the presidential candidates.

If you are one of the undecided voters in this presidential election, there's a website that can help you make a decision.

The quiz on ISideWith.com asks you basic questions about health care, the economy, immigration, social issues, foreign and domestic policy, science and the environment and then matches you answers to the views of the candidates.

If this online political quiz is accurate, more Pennsylvanians align with President Barack Obama than any other candidate.

According to the results as of Oct. 22, 52 percent of people who took the quiz from Pennsylvania have views that match those of Obama; 48 percent matched Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson; 42 percent aligned with Green Party candidate Jill Stein and 37 percent matched Republican Mitt Romney.

More than 4.3 million people nationwide have participated, according to the web site, which pitches the quiz as a way for voters to find their candidate for the November election.

The quiz takes only a few minutes to complete. And the web site states it is "not affiliated with any investors, shareholders, advertisers, political party or interest group."

Click here to take the quiz and find out with which candidate your views most closely align. Let us know the results in the comments.

This is great. Thanks for posting it. My only concern is that the general public has been prevented from hearing Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate, on the nationally televised Presidential debates. For this quiz to truly be representative, our nation would need to have "free and equal debates" where the people can hear from all candidate that are listed on enough ballots to actually win the election (Gary Johnson is on 48 state ballots). Tomorrow night, Tues., Oct. 23rd at 9:00 EDT there will be a presidential debate for third party candidates including Gary Johnson on Free and Equal.org moderated by Larry King. All candidates deserve to be heard by the American people in order to make an informed decision in an important Presidential election. More information about Gary Johnson can be found on his website. Am also including an informative article about him that might interest your readers. Thanks again.

Even HH Schools have only the two parties available for the kids to vote on in their mock election! It is by computer too, so they cannot even write in another candidate....ah Democracy in the US, gotta love it (not).

My family will be watching the Larry King debates tomorrow night.

This program allows students the opportunity to accompany their parents to the polls to cast their "vote" as part of KidsVoting in Southeast Pennsylvania. Typically, the results will be published shortly after the election in the Intelligencer and Bucks County Courier Times.

Council Rock is 1 of 13 school districts in Bucks County that participate in this program.
Kids vote is from 3:30 to 7 PM on election day. @ Newtown Middle School, please check with your school/district for participation status

I agree with the sentiment about Gary Johnson being excluded. Luckily, the Repubs have so ostracized this wing of their party that when Gov. Romney gets beaten so horribly because 3-5% goes to GJ as opposed to the <1% that went to all 3rd parties combined in 2008, we may finally get to see a 3-party debate as opposed to shameful arrests that took place of the Green Party candidates for simply attempting to attend the debate for the offices they are seeking.

What makes people think a FIRST-TERM senator who spent most of that FIRST-TERM running for another office, knows anything about overseeing the world's largest economy?

The last 4 years have shown Obama has been in over his head for 4 years. If you want a stronger economy with lower unemployment with more jobs, VOTE ROMNEY/ RYAN.

Trust Obama - Absolutely NOT!

In an interview with the editorial board of the Des Moines Register, Obama was asked if he regretted his push to enact health-care overhaul legislation when he had huge Democratic majorities in Congress instead of emphasizing measures to fix the economy. “Absolutely not,” responded the president.

That must have come as a slap in the face to the 23 million Americans out of work, trapped in part-time jobs or given up looking for work; to the 50 percent of college grads who can’t find jobs or labor at doing something below their hard-earned college credentials, and to the 5.5 million unemployed women and the 27.5 million women in poverty, increases of, respectively, 500,000 and 3.6 million over the levels when Obama took office.

Obama’s excuse for “absolutely not” was GOP opposition in Congress. Early in his term, Republicans had just 40 votes in the U.S. Senate, not enough to stop legislation with a filibuster unless they had help from Democratic members. More important, the GOP opposition Obama cited wasn’t formidable enough to block his drive to pass Obamacare. In other words, he was willing to take on Republican “obstructionism” in the name of a long-cherished liberal goal of overhauling the health-care industry but not to combat the unemployment crisis.
