Borough Hires New Police Officers

There will be two new faces on the beat in Doylestown.

The Doylestown police force grew by two this week, as borough officials swore in two new officers.

Doylestown Mayor Libby White administered the oath to the new officers, Jessica L. Whiteside and Andrew R. Hochmuth, at Monday night's borough council meeting.

"We’re looking forward to working with both Andrew and Jessica," said Police Chief Jim Donnelly, adding that Jessica graduated from Quakertown High School and Andrew graduated from CB West - "but we won’t hold that against him," the chief joked.
